Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Puffless website and the Puffless mobile app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Not medical advice

Puffless provides general wellness, educational, and motivational information to support reducing or stopping nicotine use. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical care. Recovery milestones reflect publicly available public‑health guidance and may not apply to you. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health and before making decisions related to quitting. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non‑commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded the app from.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

The app offers optional auto‑renewing subscriptions and/or a one‑time lifetime purchase ("Premium").

  • Prices are shown in the app before purchase, in your local currency.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation.
  • Auto‑renewing subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store / Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Any free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple/Google and are subject to their terms; refunds are handled by them per their policies.

4. Your data

The app stores your information locally on your device. You are responsible for your device and for any content you choose to share (for example, a progress card). See our Privacy Policy at https://puffless.app/privacy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it in any unlawful way.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR‑FREE OR THAT IT WILL HELP YOU QUIT.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Apple‑specific terms

These Terms are between you and Puffless, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple is a third‑party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them.
